Trust and transparency
How Opportunities Are Verified
A transparent overview of how OpportunityNest verifies opportunity listings and keeps pages useful after publication.

Verification workflow
The verification workflow starts with the official source. Editors confirm that the provider exists, that the application route is active or clearly recurring, and that the listing is relevant to students, graduates, researchers, or early-career applicants. The page is then classified by country, category, level, funding type, field, and deadline status.
What verification means
Verified means the listing has been matched to a credible public source and organized for comparison. It does not mean OpportunityNest endorses the provider, guarantees acceptance, or has a partnership with the organization. The official provider remains the final authority for all application decisions.
Ongoing review
Generated opportunity pages include last-reviewed notes, official source links, related opportunities, and structured metadata. Route audits and HTTP checks are used before deployment to ensure opportunity URLs resolve correctly. Expired or changed opportunities are flagged for update during regular maintenance.
Applicant safety
Applicants should avoid any third party that asks for unofficial payment, passwords, or unnecessary personal documents. Apply through the official provider link, keep copies of submissions, and verify visa or travel rules through official government resources.
